Modrean didn’t start in a factory—it started in a spare room. Two lifelong watch nerds, a workbench covered in parts, and a simple idea: if we couldn’t find the watches we actually wanted to wear, we’d build them ourselves.

That mindset hasn’t changed. Every Modrean watch is still assembled by hand, at home, one piece at a time. 🛠️⌚

From tinkering to timepieces

Long before “Seiko modding” had a name, we were already pulling watches apart just to understand them—swapping dials, hands, bezels, anything we could get our hands on.

What started as curiosity turned into an obsession, and eventually into Modrean—a small workshop focused on building watches for people who notice the details.

What we build

Modrean watches sit somewhere between homage and original design. We don’t copy one model—we take inspiration from multiple iconic designs and refine them into something that feels familiar, but not predictable.

Every part is chosen with intent. Cases, dials, hands, bezels, straps—it all has to work together as a complete watch, not just a mix of good-looking components.
